Weekly Wishes

Good morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! My weekend was chalk full of sewing and crafting... my Etsy Shop needed to be restocked and this weekend was the perfect time to do it! We have a fishing trip/lake vacation coming up in August, so I need to get everything in stock and prepped. If I don't, then when I come home, it'll be a whirlwind of orders needing to be filled and getting out of the door! I don't want that after relaxing for a week!

So today, as all Mondays, I link up with The Nectar Collective to bring you my weekly wishes. This is just a way to hold me accountable for things/goals I need/want to do this week. Sort of puts a time limit on your to do list!

The Nectar Collective

Last week's wishes were:
1. Still working on taking more pictures to share with you guys! I haven't come up with a plan on a post for this yet. I would like to do the picture a day, but how to share it and on what days hasn't focused in my mind so far. I know there are other link parties to do this, but I don't know if I want to join them or what. We will see what I come up with next week! Didn't take many pictures or come up with a plan to share them! Boooooooo on me!

2. Haven't emailed my church yet about being baptized. No excuse, just haven't done it yet! Hopefully this week. Still haven't completed this one. I know, I know! What's my excuse? Don't have one!

3. Blog like a mad woman! We have a week vacation coming up in August, and I have a ton, well, maybe not a ton, more like 25 blog topics I've saved in my draft folder that I need to share with y'all or I'll explode! One is my new work space area and a easy peasy DIY on recovering chairs!

4. List all extra supplies on Etsy. Fact is, I bought a 6 drawer dresser JUST for my craft supplies. I think I'm almost to crafter hoarding status. And most of the sea glass jewelry just doesn't sell when you aren't by the sea! So, I've decided to sell most of the supplies to free up space. The idea is eventually to whittle down my craft supplies to fit on two white shelves, and for the dresser to be brought into the master bedroom so we can use it as an actual clothes dresser. Craziness, I know! Maybe by the end of the Summer/Fall I can make this happen.

Honestly, all I've accomplished off of this list is #4. I listed all extra supplies on Etsy, and I'm so glad! That was a good 5 hours!

Also, I've sort of completed #1, but I think that I post them on my Instagram, so I feel like maybe I shouldn't post again on here, but ah well! If you're not following me on Instagram, you really should! Check out last week's photos!

All in all, I think the other 2 wishes are easy to accomplish this week. And with the extra crafting for shop stock, I won't put any more wishes on myself. Gotta know our limits, right?

How are you doing with weekly to-do lists? Give me your tips and tricks!

  4. Hi Jessy! Found your blog from the link-up. :) You have an Etsy shop? That's cool! :) Sometimes, I find it hard to complete my weekly wishes too. So I just stick to three or four goals every week. And if I know that my goal is really hard to achieve, I'll stick listing only one goal for a week. Also, whenever I miss a goal, I would simply add it on my next weekly wishes. I find listing down my goals on my planner or a post it note on my desk also helps me and reminds me of my goals for the week. :) I hope these help and good luck! ;)
