The 10 Songs I'd listen to for the rest of my life...

This is a super hard list to make. I. Love. Music. It has to be on most of the day. It will lift my mood from gloomy to sunshine and rainbows at a rate of 1000mph. So to make a list that only has 10 songs, is near impossible for me, but I'll try it anyway...in no particular order...

Frankenstein- Edgar Winter Group
How great thou art- Any version, but the Carrie Underwood one is sticking with me.
Brown eyed girl- Van Morrison
Oh, how he loves us- David Crowder Band
Barrel of a 45- Shinedown
Somewhere over the rainbow- Iz
Mozart's final piano concerto - No. 27 in B flat major, Allegro (first movement)
Sittin on the dock of the bay, Otis Redding
Wonderful Tonight, Eric Clapton
Of course, Free Bird, Lynyrd Skynyrd. If you live in the south, you pretty much associate this song with your childhood. :)

This list was extremely hard to make! I love music, it comforts me, hypes me up, mellows me out...it gives me what I need, when I need it. It's a great relationship! So of course my first (and only so far) tattoo was this...

I want to know... what role does music play in your life? And what's one of your very favorite songs? Comment below!

  1. Ooo... I LOVE your tattoo!!! If Mormons got tattoos, I would have a pair of eighth notes or the treble clef sign behind my right ear.

  2. What a beautiful tattoo. Also I have 4 tattoos did the one on your wrist hurt? I have 2 on my foot one on my ankle and one on my thigh. The ankle one hurt the worst. I also love music and just wrote about some of my favorite songs Friday. Great minds think alike. Right now my favorite song is Something Beautiful....it's hard to keep favorites because there is some great stuff out there.

  3. I LOVE music as well! When life is stressing me out, I simply put on worship music, and my spirits are lifted almost immediately!

I'm a new follower from the Let's Be Friends hop. Would love if you can stop by sometime :)
