Prepping is half the battle

I never realized how much work it takes to keep up an Etsy store! All of the things I create is just the tip of the iceberg. Then you have to take AH-Mazing photos of it, then edit those photos, then upload them and then create the listing... this is hard work! Creating and prepping the item is half the battle! The other half is fielding emailed questions about it, renewing listings, and if the item is sold then it's packaging up and running to the post office! But the stress doesn't stop there, my friends. Oh no, it doesn't! As a seller, you try to do everything possible to make sure your item will get there in once piece. You package it up nicely and even put a little extra tape on the corners of the envelope, you know, just to give it a little help along it's journey. You also check daily for the posting to say that it was delivered. And THEN you can breathe a sigh of relief!

But then, they don't leave feedback! AH! What if they don't like it? What if it doesn't fit them correctly? What iffffsssss keep popping up through your mind until FINALLY... feedback and they love it! BOOM! Success!

Maybe it's just my cuckoo mind that goes through all of this, but I truly want my customers to be happy. More than happy, ecstatic really, when getting my items because I'm just as ecstatic to make it!

Ah, the life of a trinket peddler.
