Our Anniversary Celebration

Hey Y'all! For our first wedding anniversary celebration, we choose to do a mini-getaway. We toyed with the ideas of renting a beach house, or making it simple and getting a hotel somewhere, I just knew I had to be by the water- lake, ocean, whatever, just water! The next week, when a severely discounted Groupon for a resort called The Abbey on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin hit my inbox, I knew this was the place! We booked it and it was amazing! Prepare yourselves for tons of pictures!

We strolled around the town for a while, but it was sooooo hot!

OK, this is a library that was either designed by Frank Lloyd Wright or one of his protégés. And across the sidewalk from it was the lake, how cute and perfect is that?

We started a little tradition, on our anniversaries we will have sushi for lunch and always play Putt-Putt golf!

 

 

We had a wonderfully relaxing time and loved Lake Geneva!
