I may be a crafting hoarder...

Good Morning! It's Monday, that means it Weekly Wishes day! Last week, I left off wanting to have a clean slate for this week, let's see how I did...

Last week:
1. Finish my sewing stack. I have knocked it down a bit, but with the Frozen inspired capes flying off my shelf, I needed more supplies and so I have a whole new stack to do! I don't mind though, little girls are going to be thrilled when they put these capes on! Now, their parents, might be getting a little bit aggravated at the singing of the songs that these capes will inspire, but hey- the girls are happy! This is what my garbage can looks like after a couple of capes... fairy barf. Well, I did finish one sewing stack, however, a trip to resupply left me with a whole other sewing stack! I'll get this one complete today or tomorrow, fingers crossed!

2. Still working on taking more pictures to share with you guys! I haven't come up with a plan on a post for this yet. I would like to do the picture a day, but how to share it and on what days hasn't focused in my mind so far. I know there are other link parties to do this, but I don't know if I want to join them or what. We will see what I come up with next week! Didn't take many pictures or come up with a plan to share them! Boooooooo on me!

3. Haven't emailed my church yet about being baptized. No excuse, just haven't done it yet! Hopefully this week. Still haven't completed this one. I know, I know! What's my excuse? Don't have one!

4. Carve out some reading time. I watched The Mortal Instruments movie a month ago, and immediately reserved book 2 from the library. I've read maybe 30 pages into it. Sad, I know. I'm letting down my fellow bookworms! So this week, I plan on finishing that thang!  I didn't read the book and now it's due back to the library! Maybe I'll check it out again when we go on our vacation next month. That will give someone else a chance to read it in between!

5. WALK GINNY. I don't know if you've noticed, but girlfriend has gotten quite the little belly on her lately! She's been on the same food for 6 months now, but it's just catching up with her! Maybe it's the fish-based food she has to have because of her itchy skin. Whatever the reason, I need to walk her more and see if she can drop some lbs! Walking has occurred! In fact, we walked yesterday and heard then saw a bad accident where a car was flipped! Folks shouldn't even be going fast through here much less fast enough to flip over!

Wahh wahhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, no clean slate this week. I am happy to say that I've organiced my E.C. planner in such a way that even my cleaning schedule is on there! In talking it over with the Mr, (meaning I talk just to hear it being said and he sometimes pays attention) I think the best way for me to not have anything slip through the cracks is to write everything down. That way, I have more free space in my brain for being creative! It may sound silly, but if you feel like mundane things are slipping around your household because of busy schedules, try writing it all in the planner! It may work for you, too!

This week's goals are-

Left over from last week:

2. Haven't emailed my church yet about being baptized. No excuse, just haven't done it yet! Hopefully this week. Still haven't completed this one. I know, I know! What's my excuse? Don't have one!

And new this week:

3. Blog like a mad woman! We have a week vacation coming up in August, and I have a ton, well, maybe not a ton, more like 25 blog topics I've saved in my draft folder that I need to share with y'all or I'll explode! One is my new work space area and a easy peasy DIY on recovering chairs!

4. List all extra supplies on Etsy. Fact is, I bought a 6 drawer dresser JUST for my craft supplies. I think I'm almost to crafter hoarding status. And most of the sea glass jewelry just doesn't sell when you aren't by the sea! So, I've decided to sell most of the supplies to free up space. The idea is eventually to whittle down my craft supplies to fit on two white shelves, and for the dresser to be brought into the master bedroom so we can use it as an actual clothes dresser. Craziness, I know! Maybe by the end of the Summer/Fall I can make this happen.

That's it! This week, I will be busy trying to organize my life and crafting supplies, wish me luck!

  2. Hello! Popping over from the linkup, I like your blog! There a couple things on my list I just didn't get around to either. I love crafting too but right now I have tons of stuff and I never work on it :(. I will have to fix that one of these days. I post photos each week. I started a project 365 but shooting, editing, and posting each day was too much work. Instead I switched to weekly which has been working for me. Good luck!

  4. I love that you are selling some of your craft supplies. I feel like I am close to being a craft hoarder also and need to purge. Have a great week.
